From
November 20 until December 6, 2008 Galerija Miroslav Kraljević
was transformed into a dynamic working space for workshop
programmes, debate groups and presentations in which
students, members of the press, scientists and activists dealt with
the topic of Otherness and the media from different
aspects, and created and released “virus news” into mainstream
media, thus deconstructing the dominant models for treating Otherness.
Materials of NGOs were also available in the gallery space,
as well as an archive of newspaper articles and video interviews
with the Roma, Chinese and homosexual persons.
The design of the space was created and realized by ARCHISQUAD,
squad for the architecture of consciousness.
The video and editing workshop as well as the video documentation
of events within the project were realized in collaboration with
the organization Restart.

in contemporary art

way does contemporary art participate in creating a public discourse

thematization of the neuralgic spots of our society in general. The
